Ponti's history is rooted in Emilia Romagna, the centre of Italian cuisine.

The family has been driven by a vision: to bring La Cultura del Mangiare Bene (the culture of good eating) to a British audience. Ponti's still sources many of its ingredients from Emilia Romagna and has continuing links with Italian catering colleges to exchange recipes and ideas.
